"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Fishing for a BIG one!

Lance and Went fishing last week and were on the lake for like 8 hours. The new lake in Hemet-Diamond Valley Lake, has a 50% off boat rentals every Wed. So that's what we did. It was so nice to just be together, with out the kids and hang out. Lance even let me drive the boat. It was fun. I think the best part was the floating bathrooms they had out in the middle of the lake. we did not catch anything which makes it kinda boring. But i will go again. It makes Lance happy.

hey, floating bathrooms huh? jordan pooped off the boat a couple years ago and the thing stayed on the step for like 20 min before drifting in to the unknown...

I'm not sure I'd be brave enough for the floating bathroom. I already have a real fear of someone tipping me in a port-a-potty...imagine what could happen if the port-a-potty were floating!

what a fun day-date! i'm sure the floating bathrooms weren't fun, but a small price to pay, right?!
