"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

The best night EVERRRRRR!!!!

Last night I had the awesome opportunity to attend the New Kids on the Block concert in San Diego. Lady Gaga and Natasha Bettingfield opened. Natasha was amazing I can't wait to get her CD. We were off to the side but third row up. The stage came to us about 15 feet. We could literally see their pupils.

Korinne and I had shirts on that said "Team Joey" on the font and the New kids on the block on the back. One time when joey was off to the side we yelled his name and showed him our shirts. He smiled and mouthed thank you while looking right in my eyes. He really say me and looked at me and spoke to me. OH MY GOSH!!!! I wanted to cry.

Then one time donnie was over by us he looked and me and blew a kiss. It wasn't just in my direction his eyes were looking at me.
If you look just below the santa hat you can see Joey. We were 3 rows up and when they went to the other end of the arena we were right there to take a pic. I wish I was first row and could touch him.

Joey wore this hat for a couple of songs. Its the hat he wore all the time back in the day. He actually looks younger with it on. I have always been a Joey fan but Donnie is sooooo Hot!

All dressed in white and looking So good! and dressed in black and looking even better.
Joey singing "please don't go girl" Ohhhhh the memories. He still sounds so good. Just not as high as voice as 15 years ago.

Here is MY Joey again... and for all you Jordan lovers. Here's his hot bod.

Thank you so much Korinne (Stowell) for inviting me to go with you guys. I was the hugest fan back in the day and was unable to go to a concert. Sooo worth it and had the time of my life. Today I have no voice but sooooo worth it.

Do you like Lobster?

Lances new obsession if I haven't already mentioned is lobster catching. He has a friend with a boat and they go out to the harbor and catch lobsters. The first time they caught 7, The second time they caught 4. Trevor loved them and I even found him with his little fishing pole trying to catch them.

Here is Lance showing the kids.

They each got to hold one. Here they are still alive.

Here they are going in the pot of boiling water (Which took almost an hour to start boiling) And then them after cooking. They turn a really bright red color.

Here they are ready to eat. Lance cooked them on the B-B-Q. He's lucky I don't eat sea food so he got them all to himself.

SHARK!!!!!

There is this chinese food buffet by our house that we like to go to everyonce in a while. They have crab legs and some sushi there and Lance loves it. Trevor found the claws of the crabs fun to play with. But he called them sharks.

Taller than me!

Hollie has this new obsession with stacking cups. She built this one all by herself and it was taller than she was. She will play with these cups for a while. Trevor likes to knock it down.

Blessing

The night before Hollie started pre-school my dad came over to give Hollie a blessing. We always got them growing up and wanted to start the tradition with our kids. A couple of days later in the bath tub Hollie was giving Trevor a blessing. She said bless daddy, mommy trevor and holloie. it was cute.

TWILIGHT!!!!!

Here are the plans for Girls Night Out. The theatre of choice will be AMC Tyler Galleria 16. It's pretty central to everyone in the IE, and a newer/nicer one. And most importantly, it's conveniently close to Miguels Jr. (for you in the OC, it's a IE favorite for a BRC - bean rice and cheese - burrito) and a must for me if I'm making a trip out to the IE. I called today and there's still a couple hundred seats open at the theatre, but I'm guessing that's only because people don't know they can buy tickets already. So we need to jump on it so we can go together. The show to buy tickets for: Friday 11/21, 7:45pm.Here's a ">link that should take you directly to the site to purchase a ticket for this theatre and the time above. You'll need to create an account to purchase them. Also, if you use my rewards card # 183200344, it will wave the $1 convenience charge. The website says to get the ticket, you'll have to present your credit card at the box office or guest services. So be sure to have it with you the night of.
Here's the plan.
The meeting time is early to ensure a good spot in line, to ensure a good seat. Plan on bringing a lawn chair or blanket if you don't want to stand forever. I plan on hitting up Miguels Jr. in the mall and getting it to go and eating in line while we hang out and chat. Granted, I probably won't be there at 5:30 due to traffic (and those that venture with me from the OC) but I will do my darndest. But hopefully some of you can be there early enough to secure a spot. It should be FUN!! YAY TWILIGHT!!
