"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Heaven is getting a heck of a concert tonight!

Michael Jackson died Thursday afternoon (June 25) at the age of 50 after suffering cardiac arrest, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Reports say the legendary pop singer suffered cardiac arrest at his home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Holmby Hills and was not breathing and had no pulse when paramedics arrived after a 911 call around 12:26 p.m. PT. They administered CPR in the ambulance but were unable to revive him. At the hospital, staff attempted to resuscitate Jackson, but he was unresponsive.

How do you sleep?

Last week this is how Trevor fell asleep. He must have really been tired

We went to a birthday party and the little girl got a D.J. Lance costume from Yo Gabba Gabba. Trevor wanted to wear it.

We got new sunglasses too. Spiderman and Barbie. Don't ask me where they are now. They insisted on bringing them in the house. Who know if we will find them.

play date

Last week my good friend Brenda was here visiting from Nebraska. We got together with our other friend Melissa and our kids. They loved to be outside. Trevor found a lawn mower and mowed the grass. The kids played on the bikes.

Luke liked to push Hollie on the swing. And Melissa has a big Love Sac and all the kids got on at the same time. I want one of those.

Melissa, Brenda and me.

Cuteness!

A couple of weeks ago my good frien Liz had her baby shower. There were lots of kids and they were having so much fun. At one point I looked outside and saw Kent, Liz's husband singing songs with all the kids. He was such a good babysitter.

A Little black mail

Last week we were having a little playdate and the girls were all playing dress up. Even putting on princess shoes. Seen above. Worn by Trevor.

Trevor was the only boy there and didn't want to be left out. So he got in one too.

They look soo cute. This is one to hold on to for one day when he has a girlfriend. haha

No more Preschool

Hollie graduated pre-school about 2 weeks ago. I'm a little behind. I can't believe that I will have a kindergartner in August. Where has my little baby girl gone.
Here is Hollie singing a song. All the kids did a little program and sang songs.

Here they sang the mr. Bullfrog song and had frog masks.

this is a little play they put on.

More rain.

This is what the sky looks like from my window. Have i said that I love rainy days. Especially stormy days. I could so live with Bella and Edward. :oD

About a half hour ago the thunder started again. Hollie was out side playing and a really BIG loud one hit and it scared her pretty good. She came in the house and guess what. Fell asleep. This is the drops on the ground after the thunder started. Some bigger than a quarter.

Cloudy day

I L-O-V-E cloudy rainy days. Today it is very cloudy and raining a little bit. But there is loud thunder too. I love thunder . I have the slider door open and the smell of rain is nice. The kids aren't scared. Do you hear the thunder?

My little family

Last Tuesday May 26, 2009 I attended the temple and received my endowments. This is My immediate family. My sister came and surprised everyone except me from Utah. My brother and sis in law were here from Idaho. It was nice to have my whole family there. The temple was the most awesome and spiritual experience. I'm so thankful for what the temple teaches and for the spirit I felt while inside. I'm glad I've made it this far. I look forward to the future when My family can be sealed together.
