"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Time out!

We have really been using the time out chair alot latley. Hollie knows that she has to sit there for 3 minutes and in a couple of months it's going to be 4 minutes. Super Nanny says a minute for every years old they are. Well this morning I was checking my email and I heard a sippy cup his Trevor in the head and he start to cry. Then I hear Hollie kinda freak out and run to him and hug him and say oh Trevor I'm sorry. THEN I heard her say I'm gonna go sit on the time out chair. I laughed so hard and tried so hard to be quiet about it. But I guess it comes to show that she is actually ynderstanding what the time out chair is for.

OK...so I have no kids but I watch super Nanny religiously. I feel like I need to have some idea of what to do later on because right now I am pretty clueless when it comes to kids.

Maybe she can come over and teach Carson. He just laughs when we put him in time out.
