"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Fish Lunch with the missionaries

We were able to meet Elder Hall's parents at Fish Lake this past week. They took us fishing and we had to bring back the fish we caught with them and share. I think he was a little homesick. Sorry Elder Hall. (he goes home in 3 months. They both do actually). He helped us fry the fish.

Digging in. I even tried it. sorry not my thing.

Trevor even tried it. He didn't like it either.

My mom has a missionary wall at her house. I'm gonna start one too. The elders came over tonight and taught our family the third discussion. We love our elders and the spirit they bring to our house.

Hello Sarah-
Thank you for sharing your feelings about our boy, Elder Gray. We LOVE getting reports about the work that he is doing. He has a beautiful, strong testimony and I'm happy your family has been able to feel/see that.
And how fun to peek at your blog and see photo's of him as well! I have really missed him! Thank you again for sharing!
Loves, Wendy {Elder Gray's mum}
p.s. I am not a big fish fan either. Did Elder Gray like it?

HAHAHA!! I love your 'trying the fish face' I take it didn't go as well as planned? I NEED to get Deon out fishing sometime. He wants to learn & we tried once, but didn't catch anything! maybe Lance can give us some tips on where to go!
