"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Hollie's lunch time

Hollie was telling me about her lunch time.

Hollie: Mom when we are at lunch this lady Mrs Google watches us when our teacher eats her lunch.
Me: is she nice?
Hollie: yah but she always say make sure you eat all your sandwich Me: that's good. then you will get full.
Hollie: She also has hampster teeth.
My thought: where did she hear that? I don't think she even knows what a hampster is.

The one thing that kids are really good at is being honest and say what is on their mind at any time.

One time we were at the store and we walked by this "not" so great smelling women, and Daylen said "Wooo mom, what is that smell?" I was so embarassed, I started to push the cart really fast without cracking up.

that is so funny. I love it. I wonder if she means buck teeth? Kids seriously say the funniest things!
