"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Rag quilts

This is my first rag quilt. I'm so proud of it. I made it for my cousin in laws baby shower. It was super easy. I'm debating whether to make them to sell or not.

Cute! Don't tell Joey you made it I owe him a quilt. I have not time right now and that is what he wants. I have one here at the house that I made for myself a long time ago. He has claimed that as his till he gets his own. LOL He gives me a hard time because I made one for Sariah and not him.

These turned out so cute. I'm glad that you tried to make one. I still give them as baby shower gifts and everyone still loves them.
