A friend of mine finds good bargains all the time and I'm gonna start posting them when I see them. This is a good one since I do at least a load a day.

Need some laundry detergent? I do not, but for your sake, I'll help ya out. Right now the All Small and Mighty is on sale for 2.99 at Ralphs. There is an internet printable that I linked on this blog for 1 dollar off. Well lucky for you, Ralphs doubles coupons, so 1 dollar becomes 2 and your All Small and Mighty becomes 99 cents. You really can't beat that.So go stock up on laundry detergent. You can also do this deal with the fabric softener, the coupon for that was in the sunday paper, 2 weeks ago. I have a TON left. So if you let me know today that you want some of those coupons, I will gladly drop them in the mail, they should get there by tuesday.

Bob (Lance) the builder

Lance is very good at building things. He has put up a patio cover at a friends house, build cabinets in a friends garage that go along the ceiling, made work benches for our garage, and more things too. This is his new creation. We all know he is into fishing latley and has started a salt water fish tank in our house. He built this stand with no pattern or directions just from his own brain. I think it turned out really good. He even stained it to match our entertainment center. Don't ask me how we have room for this huge aquarium but it's actually really cool to sit and watch.
We have 4 of these weird looking "starfish". they almost look like octapus. They are cool to waych and the on eon the left is pretty big.

this is the little purple starfish that crawls all over the place. I've never really seen one in action and he is a mover. He climbs up the glass and then when he fall and lands upside down his legs curl and flips himself over. Really cool to watch.

We finally saw Mickey!

On Tuesday we finally made it to Disneyland. A friend in my ward goes all the time and called me yesterday morning and said she was going and wanted us to go too. We had so much fun. Right when we got there alot of the characters were out so we waited in line for all of them. I was so suprised that Hollie went up to them. I knew Trevor would be good but I was little worried about Hollie. She did fine. They huged them and gave them five. Then we walked around a little. Went on the rockets, Alice in Wonderland, then we sat down and ate lunch and the kids threw pennies in the fountain and made wishes. Then went on Roger Rabbit (kinda scary for the kids), walked around toon town a little and then hopped the train back to the front gate. Buy the time we got on the freeway all the kids were passed out. We had a fun day!. I have a pass now and up to go anytime. anyone wanna go? Let me know.

It's a Tornado!

Yesterday I dropped my kids off with my mom and off to work I went. It was cloudy and cold and my mom had mentioned that it was raining at her house. I knew it would probably make it to our hour sooner or later. It did and rained. A couple of hours later my mom called and said it was storming, LOUD thunder, lightening and lots of hail. (i'm hoping she took pics so I can post those too. Well a little later my cousin(from Palm Springs) called to see if we were ok out here. she said she heard there was a tornado warning. But I hadn't heard anything. Well later that night I heard that there was a tornado actually 2 of them really close to my moms house. the picture above is the actual one. Doesn't it look scary! Luckily no one was hurt and it didn't visit too long.

In Orange County, walls of water, mud and debris -- some 8 feet high -- battered eastern canyons that had burned in last year's wildfires, leaving behind a muddy mess but little major damage and no injuries.

Mommy Moments

1. What time do your kids get up? Usuall between 7 and 8

2. On a good night, what time do they go to bed? Trevor goes right to bed at 8. Hollie is up until we go to bed. Woring on a new time cause I get NO alone time. Any advice from anyone??

3. How long have I been a mom? 3 1/2 years

4. How old was I when I became a mom? 25

5. What is my fav. kids show? The backyardigans

6. Least fav kids show? Wonder Pets....used to like it but now it's annoying to me

7. Fav. chore? making beds

8. Fav. meal to cook? Chicken enchiladas i love to bake cookies too

9. What's the meal cooked most often? rice with cream of chicken soup (casserole?) top ramen

10. What's the kids favorite? spaghetti, mac n' cheese, chicken nuggets, rice and chicken

11. What's my fav. thing that I do with the kids? build castles with the big (lego) blocks

12. What are the 5 things that make me smile while being a mom? when they run to me and call me MOMMY, when they ask me for help, when they are in a good mood and laughing and playing nice together, when they give hugs and kisses, and finally when they go to sleep!

13. Where do I want to take them someday? Disneyland. We still have not gone!

14. When was the last time I went out without the kids? a couple of weeks ago we went to the air show. just me and the kids

15. One thing you said you'd never do as a mom? let them sleep in our bed. Hollie is three and a half and I CANNOT break the habit. It's annoying. Any Advice here also?

16. Fav. past time with the kids? park, Mcdonalds play place, coloring pictures

17. Fav. quality that my mom has? She is always there to help when i need her! thanks mom

18. Advice for new moms? Take advantage of the hugs and kisses My mom reminds me that one day they will be too "OLD" for them and not want anything to do with me. I'm not looking forward to that!

19. What's a scary or heartbreaking moment you've had? With Hollie was when she had her teeth worked on and I had to hold her while they put her to sleep and then I had to lay her on the table and walk away! That was horrible. With Trevor was last winter when we spent a week in the hospital because his asthma and he had pnemonia. I thought he was never gonna get better.

20. When was the last time the kids said I love you, mom? Hollie says it all the time. Mostly when she is tired and about to fall asleep. Trevor is still yet to say it but he is a hugger and kisser

I got my hair did!

I've really been wanting a change and wanted to go shorter. So i finally did it after months of thought. i'm very happy with it. Thanks Lauren (Sterling). She does such a good job.

Fun times

Trevor laying on the floor loking at the ants that were crawling from a hole in the bathroom and all around the bathroom down the hall up stairs and down the wall by the stairs and to another hole in the living room. I HATE ANTS!
I had a Mary Kay party a couple of weeks ago and had a chocolate fountain. trevor loved it. he was covered in chocolate!

My Diamond fell out!

About a month ago I noticed that my diamond was loose on my wedding ring. So I took it off and figured I should or I would lose the diamond. Well I was looking at it and it did fall off but in my hand so I'm thank ful I still have it. I was sad that I wouldn't be able to wear it for a while so I went and bought a really BIG fake one to wear in the mean time. What do you think?

Air Show 2008

A week ago they were having the annual air show at March Airforce base. Our good friends Phil and Marie went with us and we had a fun time. The airplanes were loud and the kids loved it. there was the big Stealth bomber that flew right on top of us and we didn't hear it until it was too late and the ground was shaking, ears ringing and all the kids crying. Hollie learned to pug her ears which was nice cause I had to plug Trevors. To this day they both run to me scared when they hear a plane cause they think its gonna be too loud. trevor also started putting his hands to his ears and says, Loud loud. it's cute. We had a fun time and it wasn't too hot this year.

Bowling

My sister was here from Utah a couple of weeks ago and we decided to go bowling as a family. We were all there including Scott and Ashley. It was Hollie and Trevor's first time and Hollie loved it. Trevor was more into running around and enjoying a little freedom. we all had a fun time and Hollie wants to go again "REAL BAD" she says!

For the last two and a half months we have been without a dryer. There is so many loads of laundry to do that I was so behind and finally set up a line in our little backyard and started to hang dry some things. thankfully I have a mom and mother in law nice enough to do the kids clothes so that they weren't crispy from hang drying. thank you both! Well we finally got a dryer from my parents who got a new one and it's been a week and I am still trying to get caught up. you don't realize how much you use certain things until they are gone.
