I just saw a commercial on the t.v. for old nave and on Saturday the 28th their flip flops are $1.00. Probably just the plain color ones. But hey I think it's a good deal. Make sure you go get some.

A New obsession!

Hollie just started watching iCarly. It is definetly a different change
than to be watching cartoons. She has learned the theme song that comes

on at the beginning of the show. And knows the dances. I actually like this
Show. I want to record hollie dancing and singing to the sand and email it to them. They post videos from actual viewers. Spencer is HOT too. His character is hilarious. The song you are hearing is the iCarly theme song.

I found a theater that is not free but a dollar is still good. It is the new theater at the Tyler Mall. I'm gonna look for what is playing and set up playdates. How fun. Let me know if you wanna go!

Got MILK?

I went to walmart last night for a couple of things and noticed that milk was $2.86 a gallon. WAY CHEAP! So next time you are at walmart go get some milk. Not to sure how long it will be that price. I hope it didnt end yesterday! if it did sorry for the late post.

My little brother and kids uncle turns 15 today (Thursday)! He is such a fun person to be around. My kids love him and he loves them too. Happy Birthday little brother!

A Walk Down Memory Lane

20 years ago:

I was 8 years old. Had just gotten baptized. I loved to play with barbies. I was in brownies and competed in the girl scout olympics and won first place in ALL but 1 event. It was a relay race where you had to run to the other side put all the clothes on in the box and run to the other side take them off and tag your teammate. Well while taking the shirt off MY shirt came off to. Exposing everything which at the time was nothing, ha, and I was totally embarrassed and walked away. They gave me my ribbon later. Which was 8th place.

10 years ago:

I was 18, a senior in high school playing varsity soccer, and about to finally graduate high school and seminary. I was working at Round Table pizza and drove my moms blue station wagon (The Beast) around town.

5 years ago:
Lance and i got married. We spent 10 days in Hawaii for our honeymood. We enjoyed being married. I worked at Moreno Valley Honda, Toyota, and Dodge as a cashier for the parts and service dept. I bought my first "New" car, A Honda Civic.

3 years ago:

I had just had Hollie. Learning the ways of motherhood. Getting NO SLEEP. Love to just stare at her. no sleep. Sold my car cause I stopped working. started working for my father in laws business and was able to take Hollie with me. That was great.

1 year ago:

Trevor was here. he will be 2 in 2 months. I was adjusting to having two kids. Still no sleep. Still working st the shop but it was getting harder to keep the kids entertained. Lance and I at this time were living on our own in a condo we rent from his mom. Loving life.

Today:

I'm still working at the shop but only when I have a babysitter. I am trying to do a business from home that does pretty good. Lance and I try to have date nights when we can. Still don't sllep too well. Hollie ends up in our bed EVERY night.

My goals this year:

Lose weight (been my goal for the last 5 years), get a new car that has 4 doors and air conditioning, go on more date nights with my hubby, work on my patience. Gosh your kids test you BIG time.

FREE Movies

When school's out, kids around the country visit selected Regal theatres for the Free Family Film Festival. It's a fun-filled nine weeks of movies for kids and parents. Since 1991, Regal has provided this service to the community, and best of all it's FREE!
Selected G & PG movies start at 10AM each Tuesday and Wednesday during the festival. First-come, first-served seating is limited to theatre capacity. The Free Family Film Festival is safe, lots of fun and a great way for kids to spend a weekday morning in the summer.

Got Gas?

Oh my gosh. Gas prices are almost 5 bucks a gallon. It is insane. I got gas yesterday and put in $20.00. that used to fill up my tank. Now I barely get a half a tank. I'm so glad to have a little Honda Civic. Even though it's small for our family and has no air conditioning at least I don't have to spend $100.00 to go visit my mom.

My little artist

Hollie's drawings are starting to look like actual pictures. She does a really good job with happy faces. I was proud to see that she added arms and legs and they are in the right places. I cannot believe she will be 4 this year.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Ron

Yesterday was Grandpa Ron's b-day. We all went out for sushi which is his favorite. Lance loves it to. Joanie and i are not too fond of it.
I got teriyaki chicken and sesame chicken and rice Ron and Lance shared a ton of sushi

Trevor flirted with the waitresses (sorry it's kinds blurry...cell phone picture). they took him to the back and got him ice cream.
Hollie used chop sticks to eat her chicken. She did really good. With one hand even. we had a fun night.

Color dots

I found these cool water color tablets at walmart. They have red, blue and yellow but you can mix them to make other colors. It makes bath time more exciting.

Seen and heard

Today we went ot a birthday party! The kids got to swim and play on the playground (

Hollie called the play set the playground),play with big bubble wands, eat hotdogs, and decorate cookies. Oh and eat huge marshmellows. Well while hollie was in the pool I overheard this conversation between her dad and her....

Lance: Hollie don't drink the water it's uhhhh

Sarah: Go ahead tell her

Lance: It's dirty people pee in it.

Hollie: It's ok I peed in it too.

We laughed for a long time. it was cute. Lance was holding on to her the whole time too. Hee hee

CHEEEEESE!

It was another night of spaghetti. The kids love it but I don't make it that often cause they make such a mess. I got out my camera and was telling Trevor to say cheeese. He was actually saying it. He was so cute. big cheesy smile and all the dirtyness.
