"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Kindergarten check up

Here she is getting ready for the Dr. she first got her finger pricked for a blood test.

Last week Hollie had her kindergarten Dr. Appt. She had a shot in each arm one in her leg and the T.B. shot in her fore arm. She did pretty good except for the last one. She screamed no more no more and I had to hold her down. Glad it's over with. Now we just got to go to the school and register. I can't believe she will got to a BIG school this year. Like the dora undies. For some reason she never wants her pants on.

I wish the doctors would split up all those shots and tests. It is pretty cruel for little kids to have all that done to them in one visit!

She is lucky thought that all they did was prick her finger for her blood test. Emily had blood withdrawn from her arm so 3 people basically had to hold her down as she was already pretty pissed from all the shots she just got from the other nurse!
