"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Hi Sarah! Thanks for the comment! It really touched me, if I can offer any advice it is just to stay strong and he should come around! I'm sure he wants that happiness for your family just as much as you do! He just might not know it yet! ;) I recommend getting close to a couple in your ward who are an example of what you want your family to be, someone he could become good friends with and that will help speed up the process! Keep me updated! :) By the way my hubby and I LOVE sushi - those pictures look good!
I am with you on the "no food from the sea" thing. I will not eat sea food at all, not my thing. My poor husband because he totally loves it! oh well....
Okay sushi is a no go. Heather loves and it and got some one day. I was brave and tried a california roll-crab. But it just still tasted too fishy. But good thing they had chicken!
You are a better wife than I am. I won't even step foot in a place that serves fish because I can't even stand the smell! Sean doesn't understand considering how my dad loves fish so much. The thought of all the fish my dad would catch each week sitting in our freezer makes me gag!!
YUMMY! I'm picky with sushi, but your dinner looked delish!
Hey Sarah! Not sure how else to relay info to you.... Have Melissa give you my number or email & can get explain. I'm excited for your report on Ookas. I've wanted to take Mark there & try it out.
