"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Homemade salsa

I went to a baby shower and Karen Sterling brought homemade salsa. I had to get the recipe cause I loved it. I can eat chips and salsa all day.
Ingredients:
1 yellow pepper
2 green peppers
2 - 28 oz. cans of whole tomatoes
1 bunch of cilantro
2-3 bunches of green onions
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 tsp garlic salt
1-2 jalapeno peppers for spicyness (I can't handle spicy so I didn't use them at all. Next time I have to cause Lance loves spicy)
First boil all the peppers in water for 10 minutes.
Then just start adding a little of everything to the blender. Don't put it all in at one time. I used all the peppers, all the onions, all the tomatoes, and about half of the cilantro and the oil. The garlic salt is for flavor so feel free to use more as needed.
Tip: if it's to spicy add more tomatoes. If you decide to use the jalapenos get 3 cans of tomatoes.
ENJOY! let me know if you try it and how it turned out.

Looks bomb, Karen is a good cook. This Thursday or Friday, and pretty much all next week I think is open. Call me.

The salsa sounds good!

I voted on your poll. I voted for both...I don't remember ever seeing your natural color, but I bet it'd be cute! The blonde is too, though. My favorites always been blonde on top and red on bottom.
