"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Best spent $35.00

I'm always driving by garage sales looking for stuff that the kids can play with outside. They love to be out there and we have a little yard. Last week I drove by this house that had this play house along with some appliances in their front yard. The play house was so dirty it looked like they were throwing it away. I drove by at least 6 times trying to get the courage to ask if they were getting rid of it. Finally I was with my mother in law and we drove by and still didn't have the courage so she offered to do it. The lady said that is was her daughters and that she would call me later that night. Well I never got a cal and was sad that it didn't work out. The next day I DID get a cal and she said she would sell it to me for 35.00. I said I'll take it. The kids love it and I have to drag them in the house. They stay out there for a long time. I see these in the paper all the time for 50.00 and of course brand new they are over 100.00. So I figure I got a good deal. I sprayed it down and it's good as new. Lance just didn't have to put it together.
